Lara Fabian (de son vrai nom Lara Crokaert) née le à Etterbeek, en Belgique, est une auteure-compositrice-interprète belgo-canadienne. Elle reçoit la nationalité canadienne à l’âge de 26 ans, en 1996, et détient donc la double nationalité.
Chantant en plusieurs langues (français, anglais, allemand,
néerlandais, italien, portugais, espagnol, russe, hébreu et dernièrement
turc), elle a vendu plus de 12 millions de disques.
Lara Crokaert (born January 9, 1970), better known as Lara Fabian, is a Belgian singer. She has sold over 20 million records worldwide and is the best-selling Belgian female artist of all time.
She was born in Brussels (Etterbeek) to a Flemish father and a Sicilian mother. Since 1996 she also holds Canadian passport alongside her original Belgian passport.
